A journey through my work, in which Jan D. Zimmermann, starting from my works and common conversations, puts my artistic works in connection with social questions, such as those about identity, freedom and independence, duality, the role of the female up to my new manifesto of a new art.

In this conversation about my artistic approach and the virtual exhibition „FEARS & HOPES“ we dive deep into the big questions that I address and explore in my works and which are of big relevance for humanity at this pivotal moment in time.
We discuss how Self Empowerment and Individual Freedom can be achieved, we look into new concepts and definitions of individuality and how I explore these ideas in my art works. And we include views of ancient teachings and different scientific fields that inspire my work.
